Here at Merrimack Valley Children's Academy we have gathered a powerful, talented group of individuals to better serve your children and family.  You will feel comfortable trusting our staff and your children will receive the education and care they need. 

Nicole Sebastian - Owner and Executive Director

Nicole has been in the early childhood education(ECE) field since her days at Florida Atlantic University. With a degree in Early Childhood Education and Business Management from Rasmussen College, Nicole is focused on providing a caring, family environment matched with the latest educational advancements for the students. Nicole spent her time teaching Pre-K and Kindergarten students before entering administration with a large child care corporation. Nicole has three young boys, one that has graduated the Academy, one in preschool and one in the infant toddler class at the Academy. It is nice to see them thrive in the supportive and educationally rich environment offered at Merrimack Valley Children’s Academy.

Elvia (Mily) Rodriguez - Owner and Executive Director

Mily gained her degree in elementary education while living in Spain. Her degree in foreign languages is important in the Early Childhood Education field because it helps students assimilate to a new program, especially one in a diverse community such as Methuen Ma. Mily spent 8 years teaching the toddler age group with a focus on social and emotional development and instilling confidence in her students. Mily’s knowledge of large group care centers help her relate to the lives of our busy working parents, while caring for their children.  Mily has two children of her own, and both love the time they spend visiting or enrolled in the Academy.

Jennifer (Jen Jen) Hogg- Assistant Director

Jen has been a professional in the field since 2005. Jen spent her entire career at one center before moving on to join us at the Academy. Jen’s role at her previous center was as a lead toddler teacher until she moved into an Assistant Director position of an 11 classroom center in one of the most competitive child care areas in Ma. Jen has her Child Development Associates and continues to expand her knowledge of the field she loves. Jen biggest strengths are her level headed approach and her engaging and funny personality . Jen is an exciting teacher the children love to learn with and a reliable contact parents trust to help out with any issues they may be having.

Melissa Cashman- Pre-KINDERGARTEN Educator

Melissa has worked in the field of early childhood education since 2004. She is a skilled and organized teacher that strives to know everything she can about each family she is involved with. She is a comfort for the children and partners with parents to meet their expectations. Melissa excites the children about the topics they're learning while also including their interests. 

Lori Meyer-Gaudreau- floating educator

Lori has long worked in the field of social work and has joined MVCA to offer care for the children. Lori is the go-to for social and emotional growth of our youngest students and offers an ear to our older students who want to share in their triumphs. Lori is a dedicated educator who focuses on the needs of the children and their families.
